Inspectors and Packers needed IMMEDIATELY for 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts in Winchester, VA.

2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday through Friday

3rd Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am, Monday through Friday

Weekend Shift: 7:00am – 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday. The remaining 16 hours can be worked during the work week which can be flexible as to what days are desired, or can be part-time hours worked.

Pay starts at $12.00/hour

Inspectors and Packers Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include: (but not limited to the following)

  • Responsibility to safety, quality and hygiene standards and procedures
  • Inspecting product for quality according to established quality standards
  • Document daily data according to established standards and training
  • Operate pallet jack, stretch wrap machine, bar code scanner
  • Cleaning/housekeeping; sweeping of work station according to standards
  • Monitoring the production processes
  • Assemble cartons to pack plastic articles
  • Stack cartons from 25-40 lbs. on pallets
  • Pushing/pulling full pallets on pallet jack and transport to staging area
  • Pack cartons with plastic articles according to customer specifications
  • Ability and knowledge to safely operate a manual pallet jack

Dress Code Requirements:

  • Safety Shoe – Composite toe or steel toe. If you do not have a pair of safety shoes, a solid leather shoe will be acceptable.
  • Safety glasses will be provided and are always required on the production floor.
  • Long pants in jean or work pant style only. Athletic wear (jogging pants, sweatpants, leggings) is not acceptable.
  • All employees will be required to wear hairnets. Any facial hair must be covered with a beard net (beard net must be below the nose to cover the mustache area to under the chin). Long hair must be put up.
  • No jewelry is allowed. The only acceptable jewelry is a wedding band or wedding bracelet with no stones.
  • No strong-smelling colognes or perfumes. Personal hygiene is required when working with food-grade containers.
  • No nail polish or false/acrylic nails

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently
  • Must accept and adhere to the regulated GMP policy of the facility
  • No cigarettes, chewing tobacco or vapes are to be brought on to the production floor
  • No chewing of candy, gum or snacks of any kind are allowed on the production floor
  • Water in a spill-proof container is the only acceptable drink in the production area
