Eco-Staff is looking to hire skilled maintenance technician who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC equipment on a mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic level. The daily duties of this position will include the following:


  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain manufacturing plant operations and facility equipment
  • Program, Install, and Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and RSLogix 500)
  • Install and monitor hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Support production activity of all production lines
  • Repair, install, and relocate machines and equipment
  • Operate Industrial equipment (forklifts, overhead crane, 120’man lifts)
  • Read equipment drawings and schematics
  • Cable of modifying and improving equipment and fabricating ancillary parts, structural pieces as needed
  • Troubleshoot, analyze,and maintain most electrical and electronic components associated with manufacturing equipment and overhead cranes
  • Perform routine tests and preventative maintenance programs on manufacturing equipment
  • Analyze machine failures due electrical or electronic problems and suggest corrective actions
  • Make visual inspections and use test equipment such as chart recorders, voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to determine the nature of malfunctions
  • Layout and install electrical or electronic systems needed for servicing existing equipment, new manufacturing equipment, and auxiliary equipment
  • Assist in all areas of maintenance for the facility. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY


  • Must be familiar with National Electric Code
  • Must have ability read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, technical procedures, and government regulations
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • 5 plus years of experience trouble shooting hydraulic or electrical equipment and machines with work experience to support functioning at a proficient level in at least two of the following:Electrician, Mechanic, Millwright, and Instrumentation Technician
  • Experience in Steel Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement environment
