Production Workers — Food 1184 views

Our client is seeking chicken processors in Edinburg, VA. This is an entry level position which does not require experience to start. Will work on a production line packaging chicken products. Position is a temp to permanent with a pay increase after being hired directly.

Hour Requirement:

1st and 2nd Shifts are available!

1st Shift: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:45 pm (with overtime hours involved possibility to start earlier if needed)

2nd Shift: Monday through Friday 4 pm to 12:45 am (with overtime hours involved will work until 2 am)

Responsibilities:

• Work in a rotation of different positions on a line
• Debone line: putting raw chicken on cone, slicing wing, slicing tenderloins, slicing breasts. The meat should be processed and deboned and sorted off the chicken
• Packing of chicken and use of the automatic CVP machine to seal bags of chicken
• Stack off line is responsible for stacking boxes on pallets to be ready for distribution
• Keep up with production flow
• Work in different areas of production
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Detail oriented
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Must be able to do repetitive work

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work in different departments
• Must be able to lift heavy objects with no restrictions
• Attendance is a must (attendance is on a point system)
• Ability to stand throughout shift on concrete flooring

Required PPE:

• Client will provide safety glasses and lab coats; however, must provide own water boots
