Eco-Staff, LLC is currently hiring voice and date technicians in Austin.
Technicians’ knowledge requirements:
Level I-
– Capable of identifying, pulling and labeling Cat3, 5, 5e, 6 and Fiber Optic cable.
– Installing support structures (J-Hooks, support rings, cable slings, and cable tray/ladder rack.)
– These techs potentially have some exposure to closet dressing, termination of closet equipment and multi-pair color code terminations.
Level II-
– Capable of identifying, pulling and labeling Cat3, 5, 5e, 6 and Fiber Optic cable.
– Installing support structures (J-Hooks, support rings, cable slings, and cable tray/ladder rack.)
– Termination of work station outlets and closet equipment (110 & 66 blocks and Patch panels).
– Termination experience with multi-pair/strand cable (Copper and Fiber).
– Test and troubleshoot cables.
– Capable of reading blueprints, identifying cable paths and some assistance with site surveys and bidding.
– Capable of leading small crews of 3-7 technicians.
Level III-
– Capable of performing all the above-mentioned task including, but not limited to leading small to large crews (7-30 Technicians).
– Experience with site surveys, bidding and estimating projects and Project Management.
– High-level testing and documentation experience required.
Must have own tools.
