Low Voltage and Voice Data Technicians Needed in Austin 3052 views3 applications

We are looking for skilled low voltage and voice data technicians in the Austin area. Technicians must have at least 2 years of commercial project experience. Duties may include, but are not limited too:

• Run Cat 5e-/6 and fiber optic Ethernet cabling Installations
• Install Data Trays and Racks
• Punch down/terminate Cat5e/6 and fiber optic cable to user end and IDF/MDF
• Route CAT5 communication cable from telecommunication rooms to individual outlets
• Wire fiber optic lines between buildings, Wire Mesh Cable Tray, Cable Ladders, etc.
• Install patch panels and fiber trays into racks and cabinets, utilizing both punch-down and snap-in Cat-5/6 panels
• Wire IP cameras throughout the network ISP/OSP
• Build, dress, and terminate closets without supervision
